There are three theories of audiences that we can apply to help us understanding about the relationship between texts ann audience.



1. The effect model or the Hypodermic Model. (Way of describing what might happen)
2. The uses and graphications models. (To satisfy needs)
3. Reception Theory.


Why do audience choose to consume certain texts?

  • Popularity
How do they consume text?

  • Social Networks

  • Magazines
What happens when they consume the text?
