More on Focus Group

'A focus group is a form of qualitative research in which a group of people are asked about their perceptions, opinions, beliefs, and attitudes towards a product, service, concept, advertisement, idea, or packaging. Questions are asked in an interactive group setting where participants are free to talk with other group members.'

As a group we decided to make a focus group which would invlove my group talking to other members of my college and ask them questions about our choice of song. We wanted to get a rough idea of what is expected to be in our music video. There is a video below in the next post, and it show us playing a section of our song. It was their first time of listening to the audio. One of the first questions we asked them was what they thought of the song choice, their response was okay, they did tell the truth, one of themn said it was not their kind of music. We liked the fact that they were being honest because we wanted to here different opinions and then we could go from there. Overall we got rough/good idea of what should be in our video, for example an idea was getting intimate(kissing), a couple should be in the video maybe holding hands, just being romantic. The focus group helped alot, because we had no idea what to do at first and getting other people's help/opinion was a great idea.
